About the Client

The client operates one of the world’s largest integrated mining and metals businesses, with multiple plants across Saudi Arabia. As part of their ongoing digital transformation, they partnered with a global systems integrator to implement Oracle Fusion applications. However, gaps remained in quality control processes, requiring a tailored solution that combined usability, automation, and compliance.


The Challenges

The client’s quality inspection process for intermediate items (HCM, CRM, and TCM) relied heavily on manual spreadsheets. This created significant inefficiencies and risks:

  • Inconsistent data entry due to lack of standardized digital workflows

  • No real-time reporting capabilities, delaying audits and decision-making

  • Poor traceability, making it difficult to track LOT-based product attributes

  • Oracle Fusion limitations – while the ERP platform was in place, it lacked the specific inspection workflow needed for operations

The systems integrator needed a developer who could bridge frontend best practices with Oracle VBCS, ensuring both usability and enterprise alignment.

The Solution

Our team deployed a certified Oracle VBCS developer with a frontend React background. After targeted training in Oracle Redwood and VBCS, she quickly adapted to deliver a dynamic inspection entry solution.

    • Applied conditional field display and date restrictions for accuracy.

    • Enabled Excel export in the client’s required format.
