On August 28, Elfonze Technologies had the opportunity to support the Women Entrepreneurship Bootcamp at Bapuji Institute of Engineering & Technology, DAVANAGERE (BIET), as a CSR Partner. Curated by the Karnataka Digital Economy Mission (KDEM), the bootcamp brought together students and aspiring entrepreneurs to explore what it takes to turn ideas into action.
As part of the speaker address, Gowri SivaKumar, General Manager – Global Delivery & CRM Leader at Elfonze Technologies, shared a simple message: "You don't have to start big. You just have to start."
Her conversation with the young women centred around four key principles:
💡 Fall in love with the problem, not the solution. Understand the need before building the product.
🌱 Start small. A sketch on paper and a conversation can be a powerful first step.
🎤 Choose courage over confidence. Feeling nervous is natural. Confidence is taking the step anyway.
🏃♀️ Start running. Don't wait for perfection. Start, learn, adapt, stumble, improve and keep moving.
Today, a student with a laptop in Davanagere can access knowledge, technology, mentors and markets from across the world. Geography doesn't have to define the scale of an idea.
