Last Friday, our CEO & Cofounder Vijai Velu who also serves as the Vice Chairperson of the Indo-American Chamber of Commerce, India for Karnataka took the stage at the EVENTEX STARTUP EXPO, 3rd Edition at NIMHANS Convention Center, Bengaluru, to moderate and curate a panel that was designed for one purpose, give startup founders the field notes they actually need before entering the US market.

Not theory, Not policy overviews, Real, battle tested insights from people who have lived and built across the India-US corridor.

The panel brought together four exceptional voices:

Srini Ramachandruni (StratTek Consulting) with 40+ years spanning US operations and India advisory
Shivanand Khot (Regal Rexnord) with 25+ years of building and leading GCCs from the ground up.
Naveen Suriya (K&S Partners) with 22+ years and 5,000+ patents in IP strategy and protection.
Divyansh Chaudhari (TerraTern) solving global talent mobility as a founder and operator

The conversation covered what US enterprises actually look for before trusting an Indian team, immigration pathways that work (and the ones that burn through your runway), why your IP strategy is not a "later" problem, and the avoidable mistakes that cost startups real money and real relationships.

A heartfelt thank you to Dr. Anup Tarafdar for the opportunity to be part of this incredible event and for building a platform where real knowledge exchange happens.

Thank you to the Indo-American Chamber of Commerce, India (IACC), Karnataka and Amrita Tiwary for bringing Elfonze Technologies into the Knowledge Partner fold and Jinesh Kumar MK COO of Elfonze for bringing in his insights. This is exactly the kind of ecosystem contribution we believe in: giving back to the startup community through the experience and networks we have built over the years.

At Elfonze Technologies, we do not just talk about going global. We have built our own journey across the US, India, MEA, and GCC markets. If you are a startup thinking about the US market, or an enterprise looking to rethink your India strategy, we would love to have that conversation.

The founders who win are the ones who prepare, not just pitch.
